Following are select excerpts (slightly jedited) from an article by Professor Ian Plimer of the University of Adelaide; followed by links to other articles regarding the so-called "global warming" hoax.
In just four days, the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland negated every feeble man-made effort that has been made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet.
Man-made efforts to try to suppress the evil carbon dioxide, the vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow and synthesize into oxygen for humans and all animal life.
All of the carbon emission reductions accomplished through the inconvenience and expense of: driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up till midnight to finish your kid's "The Green Revolution" science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, vacationing at home instead of abroad, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your 50 cents light bulbs with $10.00 light bulbs ... well, all of those things that everyone has done combined all went down the tubes in just four days.
The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth's atmosphere in four days by that one single volcano in Iceland, totally erased every single man-made effort to reduce the evil beast, carbon. And there are about 200 active volcanoes on the planet spewing out this crud at any one time - every day.
When the Mt. Pinatubo volcano erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in its entire existence on earth. And Mt. Pinatubo was active for more than a year.
Moreover, the natural effects of ongoing solar and cosmic activity and the 800-year global heating and cooling cycle continues to occur, despite completely insignificant human efforts to affect climate change.
Moreover, the annual bush fire season across the western USA and Australia this year alone will totally negate feeble human efforts to reduce carbon emissions in our world for the next two to three years. And it happens every year.
Remember that your government tried to impose a whopping carbon tax on the basis of a completely bogus "human-caused" climate change scenario. But they don't mention the words "global warming" much any more, but instead, they now use the term "climate change." Do you know why? It is because the planet has COOLED by 0.7 degrees in the past century and the "global warming" proponents got caught with their pants down.
Next the government is planning an Emissions Trading Scheme (whopping new tax) that will achieve absolutely nothing except for the government to take more of your money and make you poorer. You can be absolutely certain that it will not stop any volcanoes from erupting.

reported that the Earth's surface temperature has risen by about 1-degree Farenheit
over the past 150 years since accurate measurements began in 1860:

Horrors! Just imagine ... a one-degree temperature increase in only 150 years.
At this rate, within only 450 more years, the average temperature of the earth's surface could reach 60-degrees.
Blame global warming.
The following article appeared in The Washington Post 88 years ago in November 2, 1922:
The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulafft, at Bergen, Norway. Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone.
Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes. Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.
Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds. Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coastal cities uninhabitable.
